Zoo Day

The conversation went something like this:

 Sunday Night:
M- Hey, we should do something fun tomorrow...
Q- Well it's too cold for a park...
M- We should've gone to the zoo when we didn't have such a to-do list. That would've been fun.
Q- Why don't we scrap the to-do list and go tomorrow?
M- Really?
Q- Why not?
M- OK!

Don't you love how we decided it's too cold to go to the park, so we went to the zoo instead? It's totally normal to go to the zoo at the beginning of January right? Well, no one said we were normal.

We had so much fun! Dainen knows a lot of his animal noises/names and he recognized so many of them!

It was a blast to round a corner and have Dainen look up and yell "elephant!" (ok, it sounds more like "eff-ent" but we know what he means).

We spent hours walking around and checking out all the animals. Dainen rode in his stroller part of the time and ran/walked around the rest of the time.

Love this kid!
