Fauxhawk

I can't do much with Dainen's hair, bows and clips and things just don't work with a boy. However, hair gel works and he had enough hair now that I can play with it! It just doesn't get much cuter than this!

Playing at the Park =)

Once upon a time seven years ago Quinn and I went on our first date and had lunch in a park before flying with his dad. Then yesterday it was sunny and we got milkshakes and went to the same park, went for a walk and then Dainen went on his first swing and first slide!

He LOVED it!

He didn't seem to know what to think about the slide.

 We didn't plan on his first playground experience being at the same park as our first date, didn't even think about it till this morning. We just like the park =).

Playtime!

                Quinn and I had our second anniversary last week! It's hard to believe it's been 2 years already. So much has happened in that 2 years. It's been a crazy, fun, challenging, wonderful adventure and I'm glad I have my best friend with me through it all. We went out to dinner for our anniversary and then on Valentine's day we had a yummy dinner at home. Not a lot we could do on those two days due to Quinn's school schedule. However, this week we had a day off! Playtime!!!
              We took a ferry out to the islands and and wandered around, it was really nice =). A good break from routine and some great family time.

Dainen loved looking around at all the new things to see, but every once in a while we'd look down and see this. Love this kid! 

We had such a fun day! Ok, going in the summer is probably better because lots of shops and the ice cream place was closed. However, it was a great outing and we had fun being together! And that's all that matters.

Mobile baby

 Dainen is very active and has figured out several ways to move. He scoots (backwards using his head and feet), and he rolls both ways. He also sits and other times he lays on his back holds his head, legs and arms up and kicks his feet super fast. It's really funny! He is just so cute! (And he's getting into everything!)


 

He loves playing with his feet, but only when he's not wearing socks... babies have opinions too!
